Stage Notes – December 9

CHORUS:

CHORUS Who is moving the bench down right in front of the porch during Big Set? We don’t need it there.

CHRISTINA Angle the bowl of biscuits towards us so we can see what’s in there. If you want you can take one out and hold it up as well.

TABLE MOVERS- KENTUCKY WASSAIL The table was a little far downstage today, but great job getting it on quickly!

TAI and SUSAN Can you come talk to Julia about tracking the movement of the baby? The baby should stay behind the crowd on Kentucky Wassail, so let’s figure out who might be able to help with that.

ANN and CHRIS S. Great on table in Kentucky Wassail

SARAH Check in with Roberta about the mouse prop

BILL Wait until after applause dies down to say “a toast a toast,” we had trouble hearing you tonight

BERNIE Great toast!

ANNE We couldn’t hear “Fleece” in Farmer’s Toast today

BILL Great on “one more song!”

GALENE and BYRON Come out a little earlier so you make it to center on Shady Grove

LEAH and JODY Great job getting the table off today!

CHORUS – ROUGHY ROCKY RD/ AMAZING GRACE Who is DR who could bring a candle on? We could use one more in that corner.

COME THOU FOUNT Everyone on the Stage Right side can still slide over even more!

BLESSINGS  Come out on the last line of Come Thou Font

SUSAN Where are you for LOD? Come talk to Julia about a potential staging idea.

WAYFARING STRANGER No one should be on the platform during this song.

HOGMANAY WOMEN We need to assign specific brooms tomorrow, come find either Julia or Roberta to do this.

ELEANORE You can come in a little sooner for Hogmanay.

HOGMANAY MEN All the suedes and coals need to end up in Betsy’s basket after the scene.

HOGMANAY MEN You can just hold your hats during Wayfaring Stranger instead of pre-setting them. Levi will help you with props before your entrance. This will also probably go quicker if you go outside to get back there.

STAR IN THE EAST The beginning dragged a bit today, you have to feel the great hope and excitement, like seeing a shooting star. The end is good, but you need to build to it.

SONGLEADERS When you are dividing sections for audience sings, look up at all the tiers, not just straight ahead.

ALLELUIA Stage Right can fold into the group a little sooner.

CAROLINE Can you do a little spin with the apple cake?

CEILIDH DANCERS Feel the excitement and joy of dancing this! The first time you dance down the aisle of dancers, give a shout.

CHORUS – CEILIDH Give a shout during the key change in the ceilidh.

JIM and JAN A little bit further down in While By My Sheep

ELIZABETH ANN Come downstage with Bill in While By My Sheep

BILL We have two notes for you about five gold rings, come find Julia when you can.

SIGN HOLDERS Double check the signs are in order before you come in–let us know if you want them numbered for you.

AULD LANG SYNE Stage Right can move a little faster on the hand cross.

RORATE Center section closest to the band– you don’t need so much space between you and the band, we want the stage picture to look more cohesive.

TEEN CHORUS:

WALLY Don’t remove bench in three craws until the audience applauds
